Local Asphalt and Concrete Specialists in Waukesha County, WI

Black Earth Pavement has grown a lot over the years, but the goal has stayed pretty simple. Do good work. Treat people right. Respond with urgency. Build surfaces that help homes, businesses, and local properties work better every day. We’re proud to serve Waukesha County, WI with asphalt and concrete services backed by real experience, a strong crew, and a reputation built one project at a time.

From Small Beginnings to a Local Pavement Crew

Black Earth Pavement started in 1997 as Supersealers, when two friends took a pickup truck, a strong work ethic, and a simple idea into the asphalt world. What began as a way to help pay for college turned into something much bigger. By 2006, the company had added a second sealcoating crew and an asphalt patching division. A year later, the team moved into a building in Dousman, giving the business more room to grow and serve more customers across the area.

Growth Built on Hard Work

In 2013, Black Earth Pavement launched its asphalt paving division. That opened the door to larger residential and commercial projects, from driveways to parking lots and more involved pavement work. In 2016, the team transformed an 1887 schoolhouse in Delafield into a new hub for the business. Then, in 2018, O’Hern Asphalt & Concrete joined the company, expanding what the crew could offer across asphalt and concrete services. In 2024, Black Earth Pavement acquired Kettle Moraine Asphalt, further growing its paving capacity and its reach across the surrounding communities.

What Drives The Work

We believe good pavement starts before the asphalt or concrete ever goes down. It starts with communication. It starts with showing up, listening, and giving people a real plan. Whether we’re handling asphalt driveway paving, asphalt parking lot paving, seal coating, asphalt crack filling and repair, asphalt resurface and overlay, asphalt parking lot striping, or concrete contractor services, we’re focused on doing the job with care from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

Why Choose Black Earth Pavement?

  • Local Expertise

We know Waukesha County pavement because we work on it every day. Driveways, parking lots, concrete surfaces, drainage areas, and repairs all deal with Wisconsin weather in different ways. Our team brings the experience to spot problems early, recommend the right next step, and build around the conditions your property actually faces.

  • Quality That Starts Below The Surface

Good pavement isn’t just about how it looks on day one. It’s about the prep, the base, the drainage, the materials, and the crew doing the work. We take those details seriously because they’re what help your surface perform better over time. That’s true for a residential driveway, a commercial parking lot, a concrete project, or a maintenance service.

  • Communication Without The Runaround

You shouldn’t have to chase your contractor for answers. Responsiveness and urgency are a big part of how we work. We’ll keep the process clear, explain what’s happening, and help you understand the project before work begins. It’s a simpler way to handle pavement work, and it makes the whole experience feel easier.
